Mozilla Celebrates Open Web with ‘Mark Up’ Launch

By Kiran Aditham

Mozilla, the grassroots-loving non-profit behind Firefox of course,  has unveiled an interactive online project dubbed “Mark Up,” which celebrates anything and all “open Web.” According to the company, which collaborated with Graffiti Markup Language (GML) author Evan Roth on this effort, the web is a shared public resource, we are all its authors and with Mark Up, Mozilla is allowing you to make your Mark, sign your name or whatever the case and support an open Web.

Feels very Utopian, doesn’t it? Anyhow, if you need some more ‘splainin, check out the demo above and get some making-of tidbits from Barbarian Group (another collaborator), here.
