We’ve been hit with quite a few tips about this since last night and now, we have received confirmation that the recently aligned, Publicis Groupe-owned agency unit that is Moxie + Engauge has had to make some cuts. The numbers from the Spy line were accurate as the agency has indeed let go of 15 staffers across a network that spans offices in Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles, Orlando Columbus and Pittsburgh. As for reasons why, from what we’ve been told, since Publicis Groupe acquired Engauge and united it with Moxie three months ago, the new unit noticed there were a few duplicate roles post-alignment and decided to “staff accordingly” for 2014.
