Moxie Welcomes New CTO, Creative Lead

By Kiran Aditham

After what seemed like a departure-plagued spring and summer at Moxie Interactive, the Atlanta-based Zenith Media agency finally has some good news to report as it’s not only brought on Matthew Fleischman as chief technology officer, but Anthony Reeves as EVP, creative. In terms of the former, Fleischman has spent the last two-and-a-half years as director, digital systems and analytics at Microsoft’s Redmond, WA headquarters and has also served on the technology side at agencies such as Wunderman, McCann and what was then Publicis Modem.

As for its new creative hire, Moxie didn’t have to look too far to essentially find its replacement for Chris Gomersall, who split for Facebook several months ago. Reeves (pictured) has spent the last four years or so in Seattle as ECD/VP of creative at Draftfcb unit The Hacker Group. Prior to Hacker, the creative exec spent time as a CD at the likes of JWT and New Zealand’s Clemenger BBDO.

Fleischman’s start date at Moxie has been for Oct. 15 while Reeves, we’ve been told, will assume his post “some time in October.” Update: On Hacker’s end, the DFCB division has confirmed that Anthony, who is relocating to Atlanta, will be leaving the agency in early October.
