-Above, you see just one in a series of rather ridiculous ads that have a caused a stir over the last few days, as you can imagine. While said ads for the Ford Figo, like the one above featuring the likenesses of Paris Hilton and the Kardashians (oy vey), have actually never ran or been paid for, the negative feedback has resulted in apologies/damage control on Ford India, WPP and JWT India’s part. When we inquired, the agencies involved would not comment beyond the WPP statement on the matter.

-The new MySpace has hired former Levi’s global director of marketing Christian Parkes as VP of global marketing and Vice Media alum Joseph Patel as VP, content + creative.

– Los Angeles-based prodco Boxer Films has signed Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner for U.S. representation.
