-Speaking of Google, the company doesn’t seem to be flinching by the Yahoo-MS deal, instead opting for a new billboard campaign that subtly takes jabs at MS business software and urges viewers to switch over to Google Apps. link

-Taking a cue from Pizza Hut perhaps, Radio Shack is set to rebrand itself as The Shack with a bi-coastal celebration. Is nothing sacred? link

-YouTube is continuing to push its News Near You feature, which hopes to give local TV news a run for its money and future Ron Burgundys a platform to program and anchor their own broadcasts. A solid revenue model, sadly, is still lacking. link

-MobiFone, Vietnam’s largest mobile operator, has moved its creative business to JWT, who won out in a four-way review that included Ogilvy, Leo Burnett and incumbent Bates141. link

-The Art Directors Club unleashed a global network of 14 reps in 26 countries who will help drive membership and emphasize participation in the ADC Awards, the Young Guns and the ADC Cube club. link
