Monday Morning Stir

By Patrick Coffee

-Bacardi’s “Live Moves” by BBDO New York claims to be “the first music video directed in real-time entirely by fans through Instagram Stories.”

-Clio, best known for running its titular awards show, has launched a new creativity content platform called Muse by Clio. The whole thing is run by our former colleague Tim Nudd, and it is editorially independent from the awards events.

-Evian throws out its signature babies with the premium mineral water. (How can anyone not use that line??)

-Publicis is asking its publishing partners to be responsible for GDPR compliance, and they are unhappy.

-In case you haven’t had enough Sorrell/WPP/S4 drama, the NYT summarizes it all in one place.

-More and more brands are asking if it’s too late now to say sorry.

-BuzzFeed ran a pretty decent quiz on WWII-era ads. Worth reading just for the aw shucks-style copy.

-Now that IPG spent $2.3 billion on Acxiom, who will buy its “data onboarding” company LiveRamp?
