Momentum Shift Occurs in Production

By Kiran Aditham

Three months after learning that Momentum had parted ways with SVP/ECD Josh Tavlin, we’ve received confirmation from the agency that its New York HQ is losing another exec in Madison Wharton (pictured). The latter staffer, who is also based in NYC, has spent the last two-plus years as EP of integrated production for the IPG-owned network’s North American ops. No word on where she’s headed next, but sources add that Wharton’s last day at Momentum is August 30.

In addition to the EP’s departure, Momentum is also parting ways with New York-based senior integrated producer Amanda Schultz, who has also spent two years at the agency. Both Wharton and Schultz have spent time on the production side at CP+B prior to joining Momentum. A spokesperson for the latter agency tells us, “we…extend to them our sincerest gratitude for their contributions,” though they wouldn’t disclose any other details. But, the agency did inform us that the New York office has promoted senior integrated producer Amelia Sutton to executive integrated producer. The Momentum camp adds, “Her track record of excellence – including incredible work on American Express Unstaged – has made her a real leadership asset to this office and a perfect fit for this new role.”
