Independent Los Angeles agency Mistress welcomed Allison Barnes as director of media, Kristin “KB” Busk as director of social strategy and promoted Iman Forde to director of project management, all new positions at the agency.

“Allison and KB are both experienced, thoughtful and analytical marketers who are helping Mistress evolve into a truly full service shop offering rebundled agency services,” Mistress founding partner Christian Jacobsen said in a statement. “We are growing our expertise in business strategy, customer acquisition and media services, especially in digital and social, and Allison and KB are an important part of that. They are helping Mistress become a more complete partner to our clients. We’ve already benefited from their impact on both our services and culture.”

Barnes (pictured left) arrives at the agency from Supermoon, following the merger of the two agencies last year. She served as director of media services for the agency beginning in 2012 and previously held leadership roles at agencies including Starcom, Mediavest, and Spark Foundry.

Busk (pictured right) arrives from digital studio Madison + Vine, where she spent around a year as director of content development, following over a year and a half as senior digital strategist at PMK*BNC digital agency Vowel.

Forde (pictured center) was promoted to director of project management after nearly three years with the agency, most recently as senior project manager. She joined Mistress as a project manager in 2015, after six months in the same role with Select World, working with P&G brands.

“Iman has proven she can lead delivery in all aspects of our business from managing larger agency of record accounts to quick nimble creative projects to social AORs,” Jacobsen added. “She has successfully filled in gaps when needed and is a fundamental leader at Mistress as we continue to push the agency forward in our mission to deliver results at speed.”
