Search engine optimization-related items might not get a lot of play on this site, but as our case of the Mondays slowly wears off, we might as well tell you that Mike King is leaving Publicis Modem. From what tipsters tell us, King, who has spent the last year as SEO manager at Modem, is heading to R/GA, though sources familiar with the latter say there’s no truth to the matter. Prior to Modem, King spent some time as an SEO analyst at fellow Publicis Groupe agency Razorfish.
From the looks of his LinkedIn, King seems to relish working in the SEO arena, as he says, “I love how SEO is [a] protean organism that keeps the whole industry guessing. It’s a challenge that doesn’t go away. And who doesn’t like a challenge?” We’ll take his word for it.
