Now that Emotional Bag Check is temporarily dark (because jerk faces somewhere are spamming the site), Mighty Mighty You may be the Internet’s new collaborative encouragement space. Created by three VCU Brandcenter students who interned with Coca-Cola’s Content Excellence group, the premise of Mighty Mighty You is simple: users record encouraging videos, and can in turn watch positive recordings to get a boost. There may be cheering, pep talks, or songs involved.
My only complaint is that the site’s design involves a mustache. That trend has gone the way of bellbottoms and mullets. However, we all know it’s the message that matters, and Mighty Mighty You will make your day. Additionally, you can read a long explanation of what “Mighty Mighty” means from one of its creators here.
