Midnight Oil Welcomes Group Account Director On Netflix

Los Angeles-based agency Midnight Oil hired Cailtin McNulty as vice president, group account director.

McNulty will oversee the agency’s Netflix account and report to executive vice president John Barker.

“Netflix is a high-touch, high-tech brand that is taking the world by storm,” Midnight Oil president Denise Wong said. “It requires senior strategic account leadership from a disruptor who is a champion of great content. Caitlin fits that bill.”

McNulty arrives at Midnight Oil from Publicis Sapient, where she co-led the Samsung business as vice president, executive client partner. Prior to joining Sapient Razorfish in that role in 2014, she spent nearly three years with Razorfish customer engagement agency Rosetta as partner, senior vice president, account management also working on Samsung. Before that she spent nearly a decade with Ogilvy’s Los Angeles office, serving as partner, group account director on accounts including Qualcomm, HTC, Cisco Systems, Heal The Bay and Nature Made Vitamins. Outside of advertising, her interests include cooking and hiking.

McNulty’s hire follows the arrival of Daniel Chu as executive vice president, creative last month.
