-Michelin announced that it’s moving its $43M US media planning/buying account from MediaCom to WPP sister agency Mediaedge:cia. The move takes effect on January 1 but MediaCom will still handle media business for Michelin in Canada and Mexico.

-Speaking of Louis Vuitton, the fashion firm has been kicked by a lawsuit from New Balance, which claims that the $590 Louis Vuitton Minstrel sneaker is a ripoff of NB’s 574 style, priced at a mere $70.
-Pereira & O’Dell added Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) to its roster of clients. The San Fran-based agency will launch an integrated campaign for WPS in March 2010.
