Harris D. McKinney, Inc., to be exact, as that’s the new identity of the shop formerly known as McKinney|Chicago, which services clients in the life science and tech sectors. The agency explains the name change on its site:
“No need to worry. McKinney|Chicago is now Harris D. McKinney, Inc. (aka HDM), bringing it back to where it all started in 1936. Entering our 75th anniversary year offers us a unique opportunity to pay tribute to our founder, his vision and a legacy of excellence in marketing communications services for B2B clients. Though we call Chicago home, our geographical reach has extended far beyond our city for the better part of our history and we plan to reflect that through our new identity.”
The agency is also moving offices to 55 Wacker Drive (Windy City residents are surely familiar with the area), a location that overlooks the Chicago River. Oh yes, it’s that thrilling of a Wednesday.
