McKinney GCD Takes Her Anger Out on Norovirus

By Kiran Aditham

Do you know what Norovirus is? If  not, let’s just say that it’s a nasty bug that causes acute gastroenteritis in humans and it happened to afflict one Ellen Steinberg, a partner/group creative director at McKinney whose anger boiled over and resulted in a site called “Norovirus: One, You: Zero.” The site’s premise is simple: Share your thoughts on getting the illness. And thus far, Steinberg’s site, which was developed by McKinney programmer Matt Hisamoto, has garnered stories from the agency’s Durham, NC homebase to as far as away as Scotland. If you happened to be a Norovirus victim feel free to share your tale and give a middle finger in the process. The basic message here, to echo the McKinney camp’s sentiments, “Wash your hands!”
