McCann Worldgroup promoted Jesse Lin to the role of vice chairman of McCan Worldgroup Asia Pacific and chairman of MRM//McCann APAC. He will also continue to serve in his current role as CEO of McCann Worldgroup China.
In his newly expanded role, Lin will partner with McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific chairman Prasoon Joshi and president Charles Cadell, as well as leading MRM//McCann APAC along with worldwide chairman Bill Kolb and CEO Michael McLaren in an effort to accelerate growth in the region.
Lin joined McCann as CEO of McCann Worldgroup China in April of 2012, helping to expand the division during his tenure. Prior to joining McCann, he spent nearly six years as president of DDB Group Shanghai. Before that he served as managing director for W+K Shanghai, following a two-year stint as group account director at Leo Burnett Hong Kong. Lin has over 20 years of marketing and communications experience in China and has also spent time as an art director and entrepreneur.
