McCann NY Adds Managing Partner, Key Tech Hire

By Kiran Aditham

McCann New York has a new managing partner in Matt Donovan, whose main tasks are to lead agency operations of course and to ensure that the “transformation plan” ushered in by NY president Thom Gruhler is being adopted by every staffer. Donovan arrives from Euro RSCG, where he’s spent the last four years holding CSO posts, first at Euro Asia Pacific then Euro RSCG 4D, North America.

Along with Donovan’s appointment, McCann NY also welcomed Mark Fallows (pictured) as director of creative technology. Fallows is no stranger to the agency as he’s spent the last four years as head of digital content at McCann’s London office. During his tenure across the pond, Fallows led the team that built the UPS Desktop Widget, which allows UPS customers to track packages on any desktop or handheld device, as well as the “Fable III Kingmaker” location-based game for Xbox that promoted the launch of said game. The U.K. native officially assumes his post today.
