By Kyle O'Brien

MSix&Partners, a joint venture between The&Partnership and GroupM, has hired Maureen Krol as global group director and Jessie Pollack as director, client leadership and planning.

Krol comes to mSix&Partners from Starcom, where she led Gen Z and millennial marketing initiatives for companies in the CPG category including Mars, Red Bull and Grupo Bimbo. Highlights include leading media for Taki’s “Face the Intensity” Super Bowl LIV campaign starring John Cena, and launching Mars’ Maltesers candy brand in the U.S. market.

“What so impressed us about Maureen was her bold and visionary work on behalf of brands, particularly with respect to Gen Z/millennial and LGBTQ+ initiatives. This is someone who isn’t afraid to lead clients, and her track record of winning campaigns speaks for itself,” said Kim Sivillo, CEO, North America at mSix&Partners in a statement.

Krol previously worked for OMD USA and MEC. At mSix&Partners, Krol will lead both client work and new business activities.

“Two pillars of mSix that really stood out for me were the company culture and its leadership team. Those factors, combined with the agency’s recent growth, made me feel energized and optimistic heading into 2023,” said Krol about joining the agency in a statement. “There’s a collective buzz and deep sense of momentum at the agency and it’s exciting to be part of it.”

Pollack joins mSix&Partners from Horizon Media where she led efforts for clients including Capital One, HelloFresh and Burlington. This included launching Capital One’s media in support of its 360 Checking & Savings products and successfully expanding HelloFresh’s marketing strategy. Pollack was also instrumental in helping Burlington navigate its media spend through the pandemic, quickly delaying upfront commitments and pivoting its media allocation to later in the year when retail locations were approved to safely reopen.

Prior to Horizon, Pollack was at Red Fuse Communications where her team led media strategy for a range of Colgate-Palmolive brands.

“Jessie has also driven innovative media work for major national brands, and in her first month, she was instrumental in winning OnePlus and providing key contributions for several other important client growth initiatives,” said Sivillo.

Sivillo, who was appointed to her position in June, added that both Krol and Pollack were hired because they fit the culture and values of the agency and “embody the mSix mission to take their clients further, faster.”

The new hires for mSix&Partners follow a year of double-digit revenue growth for the agency, including new client wins such as biotech startup Evolved by Nature and smartphone maker OnePlus.
