Martin Williams Changes Up Leadership

By Kiran Aditham

Sixty-year-old Twin Cities operation Martin Williams, which last we heard took on full advertising duties for Syngenta from Campbell Mithun two months ago, has made some changes at the highest level. The Omnicom-owned agency announced that CEO/CCO Tom Moudry (left) has now regained the title and responsibilities of president from 20-year M|W vet Mike Gray, who is in the process of leaving the agency life. Gray, who has spent nearly 35 years in the ad biz in all, has held the president title for the past five years.

In a statement, Moudry, who has been with M|W for over eight years, downplays his added responsibility, saying, “There’s a lot going on within these walls, and the least important part of it is my taking a new title.” He cites new business wins including Syngenta and Simmons as well as the addition of 15 staffers as more important news.

In addition to Moudry’s move, Martin Williams promoted VP, account director Laura Terry to CMO.
