Maggoty Zebra Burrito, Anyone?

When you’re trying to survive in a desert/jungle/the Serengeti, your food options may be limited. Naturally, it’s best to consider the nearest free alternatives. For former S.A.S. ninja Bear Grylls
of semi-real survival show “Man v. Wild” that sometimes eating, for example, a zebra burrito.

The dead beast’s skin will have softened nicely by day two, and the skin/hide will provide a supple nest for the main portion, its muscly meat. Add maggots to garnish et voila, una cena hecho por un rey. That is, a meal fit for a king…of the jungle. Zing. Beetle pizza, maggot fries and credits after the jump.
