Two years after leaving his CEO post at Organic for the same title at Linden Labs, Mark Kingdon has now resigned from the latter company, which is of course behind the overhyped, yet underperforming virtual world that is Second Life.
Kingdon’s decision was likely made easier when Linden Labs announced that it was cutting 30 percent of its staff earlier this month. Stepping in for Kingdon at least for the time being will be company founder Philip Rosedale, who started LL in 1999.
