Leo Burnett London Appoints Chaka Sobhani as CCO

By Erik Oster

Leo Burnett London appointed Chaka Sobhani as chief creative officer, LBB reports.

Sobhani, a twenty-year veteran of the advertising and broadcast industries, arrives at Leo Burnett from Mother London, whose creative team she has been a member of since 2013. Prior to joining Mother, Sobhani served as creative director for ITV’s in-house agency ITV Creative, building the ITV Creative team to a staff of over a hundred in the process. Before that, she created branding and advertising for the Fox, helping to launch the network’s children channels across Europe and the Middle East.

“Chaka’s pedigree marks her out as a very contemporary and exciting creative leader,” Leo Burnett London CEO Paul Lawson told LBB. “Her background is unique, having worked both agency and client-side, as well as being highly experienced in production and an award winning director too. I believe she is the perfect fit for our ambitions. She has bucket loads of charisma and enthusiasm to engage and inspire and she commands great loyalty from colleagues and teams alike. I know we’re going to enjoy working together”
