Le Truc Names Julia Neumann Partner, Chief Creative Officer

Former Johannes Leonardo chief creative officer Julia Neumann has found a new home. Le Truc, Publicis Groupe’s creative collective, has named her partner, chief creative officer, reporting to Carla Serrano, global chief strategy officer of Publicis Groupe and president of Le Truc.

Neumann will be based in Publicis’ New York Headquarters, rounding out the creative leadership team, joining partners Bastien Baumann (founding partner, chief design officer), Andy Bird (founding partner, chief creative officer) and Marcos Kotlhar (partner, chief creative officer) in building the future creative partnership model under Serrano’s leadership.

Neumann most recently served as a CCO at Johannes Leonardo, where she was responsible for leading creative for clients including Kraft Heinz, Instagram, Uber and Volkswagen. Previously, she was executive creative director at TBWA/Chiat Day. She also held roles at Saatchi & Saatchi, Wieden+Kennedy, BBH, MullenLowe and Y&R.


Across her career Neumann has led award-winning campaigns including “Billie Jean King Your Shoes” for Adidas, JetBlue’s “FlyBabies,” and Mtn Dew’s “Major Melon.”

Over the past year, Le Truc has assisted with Publicis’ new business success, working with Publicis clients including Four Seasons, LVMH, Samsung, Visa, Pfizer, and Campbell’s. Le Truc was also instrumental in the creative development of the “Working With Cancer” initiative, awarded the 2023 Cannes Lions Health Grand Prix for Good.

Le Truc is housed in a dynamic, collaborative creative workspace developed in partnership with leading architecture firm A+I. The 30,000 square foot space sits at the heart of Publicis Groupe’s flagship building in New York.
