Lauer No Longer Sponsoring Pure Acai Berry

TVNewser’s Chris Ariens told us a few weeks ago about the apparent misuse of Matt Lauer’s image to hawk a product called Pure Acai Berry Supplement.

We can’t say we take credit for Lauer’s image being removed, but we did inform NBC of the situation, and as you can see by the image, the NBC Newser is no longer part of the “campaign.” However, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt seem to have replaced him.

As noted by TVNewser, maybe they just don’t have lawyers. A point of note: Who do you think is the more fitting sponsor for this product, Lauer or Brangelina?
