Kumho Tire, the ninth largest tire manufacturer in the world, selected JWT Atlanta as its agency of record for creative and strategic services after a competitive review.

JWT Atlanta’s experience working with automotive brands, including current clients Shell, Pennzoil and Quaker State, helped it secure the appointment, which marks the first new business win under new CEO Spence Kramer. He joined the agency back in March after serving as global managing director at CP+B.

The client, which is also based in Atlanta, has has worked with experiential agency Pearl Media and Arras Group in the past. Representatives declined to reveal the financial details of its relationship with JWT beyond stating that the contract is worth seven figures.
