JWT Cuts Staff in Atlanta

By Kiran Aditham

Nearly five months after we reported on a “housecleaning” of sorts at JWT’s Atlanta branch, word from sources familiar with the matter is that the office has had to cut more staff as part of a “creative shakeup” following the hiring of CCO Perry Fair. We’ve been told that number is under 16 and pretty much affects JWT ATL’s creative department (sources add, though, that a handful of Dallas folks outside of creative were affected as well).

Fair (pictured), if you remember, not only signed on as JWT Atlanta’s chief creative officer, but was also tasked with overseeing the agency’s Dallas and Houston creative departments as well. Prior to JWT, he and Mauro Cavalletti joined up with Mullen as co-chief digital officers for a solid seven months.
