San Fran agency Heat, which did Tiger Woods’ first non-creepy spot since his career spiraled down, launches another ad for EA Sports, this time for the game NCAA Football 11 (like the Tiger spot, W+K served as media agency). The above spot, which is one of three in the campaign, asks the question, “Where do you come from?”
And while there are appearances by the QB/messiah himself, Tim Tebow, and former 49er Ronnie Lott, the most startling cameo is that of John Elway, the Stanford Cardinal-turned-Denver Bronco who’s aged far worse than Joe Montana. If anything, it makes us take a look in the mirror and vividly recall how we were cheering Elway when he won his first Super Bowl. Damn you, father time.
