Johannes Leonardo Hires Head of Business Development From Droga5

Johannes Leonardo hired Ben Myers as head of business development.

In the role, Myers will be tasked with leading the agency’s business development efforts while reporting to president Bryan Yasko.

“After a very long search, it was clear to me that there was no better person than Ben to spearhead our business development efforts,” Yasko said in a statement. “His experience in galvanizing growth on some of the world’s most iconic brands has given him crucial insights into the challenges clients face today.”

Myers joins the agency from Droga5, where he spent over five years, most recently serving as group account director. Prior to Droga5, he spent nearly nine years in brand management with The Richards Group, followed by two years as vice president, integration for BBDO. Over the course of his career, he has worked with brands including e GE, Bank of America, Pizza Hut, HBO, GameStop, Motorola, The Patron Spirits Company, Blizzard Entertainment and Red Lobster.

Myers arrival at Johannes Leonardo coincides with another departure for Droga5, as co-head of strategy Colm Murphy joining McCann New Yorkis as chief strategy officer.
