JetBlue Names Mullen Lowe Lead Creative Agency for Its New Credit Card

JetBlue has named Mullen Lowe as lead creative agency for its new credit card following a review, AdAge reports. Its media unit, Mediahub, was also named as lead media agency for the new card. The card will be issued by Barclaycard and JetBlue on the MasterCard network and follows JetBlue parting ways with American Express earlier this year. Mullen Lowe has served as lead creative agency for JetBlue since 2010, so the appointment is far from surprising.

“Mullen Lowe and Mediahub have been terrific partners to JetBlue, and as we launch this new partnership with Barclaycard, we saw the clear benefit of an agency that understands our mission and values, and that brings a complete set of marketing capabilities to every assignment,” said JetBlue vice president, brand and product development Jamie Perry, in a statement.

“JetBlue and Barclaycard are embarking on an exciting and innovative venture together, and we’re proud to be their partners in bringing this new and different card offering to market,” said Mullen Lowe U.S. CEO Lee Newman said, also in a statement. “Everything JetBlue does has a high dose of humanity, so we know that their new card offering with Barclaycard will be unique and will deliver great value and benefit to the customer.”
