“All,

I have some sad news to share with everyone.

One of our Jack Morton colleagues passed away this week. His name is Robb Grainger. He was an Account Director with our Cadillac team in Detroit.

Robb recently turned 40 years old. He passed Monday evening of heart failure after playing basketball with some friends.

Those who knew Robb best, knew him as someone who lived his life with great passion. He had passion for our work, passion for his friends and passion especially for his family. He leaves behind two young children:  Aiden, 9,  and Madeleine, 11.

Our colleagues in Detroit are supporting his family by launching a website where those who wish can make a donation to a trust fund established to aid Robb’s children as the family copes with the loss.

While we are a company with many individual locations, we have always been one big family in spirit. In these rare times when we lose one of our own, it’s important to take a moment to reflect on how valuable our friends and colleagues are to us. It’s easy to lose sight of this in the hustle and bustle of the competitive world we live in. But as we have always believed at Jack Morton, our business is really all about our people and the drive and passion they bring to our collective enterprise.

Robb was one of the good ones, in every respect. His passion will be missed by all.
