Intel Gets in On ‘The Chase’

By Kiran Aditham

For those of you lucky folks who get to indulge your tech geekdom at CES, Intel has rolled out this new two-minute clip called “The Chase,” which is not to be confused with the guilty pleasure 1994 film starring Charlie Sheen. Venables Bell & Partners along with directing duo Smith & Foulkes and Bourne trilogy cinematographer Oliver Wood were behind this promo for Intel’s new Core i5 processor. Shot in Prague, the clip weaves animation with live-action and tells a tale of a woman (perhaps a knockoff of Angelina Jolie in Salt) on the run from thugs. The music is apt for a spy film and we get to see the Core i5 at work as the storyline progresses through social networks and various other computer applications. Guess it’s time to trade in my old Sony Vaio.

For those of you at CES, stroll by Intel’s booth if you have the time as this video will be running throughout the week.
