If You Didn’t Get Kraftwerk @ MoMA Tix, Deutsch and VW Might Be Able to Help

By Kiran Aditham

We waited in the queue for what seemed like an hour when tickets for Kraftwerk’s eight-night run (April 10-17) at New York’s Museum of Modern Art first went on sale. But thanks to a shoddy ticketing system (which makes Ticketmaster appear golden), many, like me, were shut out and as expected, the string of shows sold out in no time. If you’re still bristling over not getting the chance to see the German electronic legends  play their eight albums on eight consecutive nights in chronological order, Deutsch LA and client Volkswagen (of course, they’d be involved) have some tickets to give away.

The agency and client have reserved 50 tickets for each night of Kraftwerk’s audiovisual retrospective and are dishing them out via the “VW GIFaway, which we’ve been told is “a tribute to the retro-futuristic aesthetic of the ‘80s German band.” Anyhow, just visit the GIFAway site and follow the instructions. Winners will be contacted by March 26.
