Icaro Doria Out at Goodby

By Kiran Aditham

After only seven months, Icaro Doria’s time at Goodby Silverstein & Partners has come to an end, sources familiar with the matter confirm. At this time, we’ve been given no specific reason for Doria’s departure but a spy alleges that he was let go (for reasons we’re still trying to substantiate) by the San Fran-based agency , which he joined as GCD on the Sprint account back in March.

Prior to Goodby, Doria spent nearly two years at Y&R New York as global CD on Dell and also held the group creative director post on Bacardi, Virgin Atlantic and VH1. During his career, Doria also served as a creative under Tony Granger at Saatchi & Saatchi NY, helping the agency win big at Cannes in 2007 and working on brands including JC Penney, Crest, Olay and StuffIt.

Now, we just wonder how this will all affect the Doria Facebook campaign.
