Hyper Island Founder Hammers the Term ‘Value’ Home

By Kiran Aditham

Alas, there’s no juggling to be had in this video presentation, but if you want to hear the word “value” uttered at least a dozen times, this is the clip for you. In lieu of an op-ed from David Erixon, who founded Hyper Island and served as its managing director from 1995-99 and is now VP, products & consumer experience at Yota Group, we have this recent opus on how brands can behave in a “different way” if they really want to deliver the value that consumers want out of them. If anything, we get to see what a Hyper Island classroom looks like, though the resonance of Erixon’s monologue is in the eyes/ears of the beholder.
