By Patrick Coffee

It’s Huge’s time to shine this week as the IPG network announced the hires and promotions of 5 new creative leaders across offices. And yes, they scored some talent from other agencies.

-Huge vet Hugh Connelly has been promoted to ECD and relocated from Atlanta to Singapore
Inessah Selditz joins from Rockwell Group as group experiential director
-AKQA’s David Clarke comes aboard in the ECD role in New York
Meg Douglass of Grey is now creative director
-Microsoft designer Claudio Guglieri (who also formerly worked at sister agency Elephant) has become GCD

Here’s your joint statement from CCO Jason Musante and chief design officer Derek Fridman: “We are thrilled that the agency is attracting top talent globally. These additions mark our commitment to integrating end-to-end capabilities under one roof, allowing us to create the most seamless and unified experiences for our clients possible and to continue driving the industry forward.”

Clarke will be responsible for growing the agency’s relationship with Google, a client they’ve had since 2013 but still can’t really discuss in public, while reporting to managing director Mark Manning. Douglass and Selditz are also working from the agency’s DUMBO, Brooklyn headquarters while Guglieri stays on the West Coast working with clients like Dolby and UCSF.

Connelly’s focus will be helping the APAC office grow.

These hires follow news of Huge’s win in the Realtor.com creative review, which also involved 72andSunny, Droga5 and Mother New York.
