Huge Hosting a Happy Hour in Detroit to Celebrate Its Newest Office

By Patrick Coffee

Do you live in or near Detroit? Will you be in the neighborhood tomorrow looking for some libations and, perhaps, a new job in the world of advertising?

You may have heard that Huge of Brooklyn was the big winner in Fiat Chrysler’s recent digital agency review, which lasted nearly eight months and ended with the IPG shop scoring a big portion of the online marketing previously handled by SapientNitro. (Banner ads still totally work, BTW.)

In order to better manage that business and a couple of other mysterious Midwestern accounts, Huge has opened its first location in Detroit. As the website puts it:

“Huge opened an office in Detroit in late 2015 to provide digital design, business strategy, technology, and marketing services to companies operating in the Midwest United States and around the world.”

We do hear that Huge Detroit is currently just a few people hanging out at IPG’s offices, but they’re looking for a space downtown and plan to begin the residency in full next year.

In the meantime, they’re buying everyone drinks at an event tomorrow night in which they look to meet members of the local arts community and begin the hiring process. Huge needs five new creatives including a CD and a senior art director and copywriter as well as some strategy and client services team members.

The drinks are really more important, though. We also look forward to the coming timelapse video.

Hello, Detroit. Let’s hang out. We’re buying (and hiring) this Wednesday: http://huge.is/1GthCwW
