By Kiran Aditham

Brooklyn-based IPG shop HUGE announced several staffing changes as well as planned expansion throughout the globe. Most notably, the agency’s undergoing a leadership change as HUGE partner Aaron Shapiro (pictured) is adding CEO to his title while fellow partner Gene Liebel is now taking on the role of partner, chief strategy officer.

With new higher-ups in tow, HUGE is losing two longtime partners (there’s quite a few from what we’re seeing) as ECD David Skokna and Sasha Kirovski, partner, technology, are leaving the organization after helping lead HUGE since its inception in 1999. Stepping up to the plate to take over as partner, ECD is Joe Stewart, who most recently served as executive creative director and led creative on Pepsi, Target and JetBlue among others.

In addition to the staff shakeup, HUGE announced that it’s planning to open new offices in Brazil, China, Singapore, Japan and other markets over the next 12 months, in turn adding to its existing branches in Brooklyn, L.A., London and Stockholm.
