Here’s a Quick Molson Coors Update

By Kiran Aditham

Nearly a month after Molson Coors ended its seven-year relationship with CP+B Canada (and the legacy Zig team) due to an apparent conflict of interest, it appears that the brew giant is close to making a decision on which agency will take over as AOR. If you remember, CP+B was reportedly cut after Molson found out that the agency was pitching for the Bud Light U.S. biz, which, if our sources are accurate, proved to be ultimately unsuccessful.

Anyhow, a handful of names have popped up as the new crop of finalists on Molson Coors including Leo Burnett, Dare, Juniper Park and Rethink. While the Molson camp tells us that they cannot release the names on their shortlist at this point in time, a spokesman tells us that the company “[hopes] to have a decision made by month’s end.”
