Here Are the Convo Changes You’ve Been Waiting For

By Kiran Aditham

Sorry to keep you waiting for so long, folks, but here’s the official news regarding New York-based independent agency Conversation, which we mentioned last week was undergoing a bit of an executive shift in order to emphasize strategy and process. The big news from Convo is that managing director Myles Kellam, who has been with the agency for two-and-a-half years, is being promoted to chief strategy officer. Kellam (left), who has held account/client services posts at the likes of Atmosphere, Deutsch and imc2 during his career, will be replaced by Mimi Lin, who was previously Conversation’s director of business operations.

Regarding the idea behind the moves at Conversation, which has recently picked up business from J&J among others, founder Frank O’Brien says, “Clients want an agency that is strategically sound, but nimble in their execution.” O’Brien, as we mentioned, is still on board as founder, though Conversation’s CEO chair is now open. Any takers?
