San Francisco agency Heat announced the appointment of Molly Cabe as strategy director.

Cabe arrives at Heat from Pereira & O’Dell, where she has served as brand strategy director for the past year and a half, following ten months as associate strategy director. That followed over two and a half years at as brand strategy director and a similar period at Draft FCB as a brand planning director. Prior to joining Draft FCB, she spent nearly seven years as an account planner and account planning supervisor at BPN. Over the course of her career, she has worked with brands such as Haagen-Dazs, Cheetos, Airbnb, Columbia Sportswear, Pup-Peroni,  1-800-Contacts, Skype and Adobe.

After bouncing around from agencies of varying sizes, Cabe, who originally studied cultural anthropology, believes she has found the right fit with Heat. “Coming to Heat feels like coming home, with a tight-knit group of entrepreneurial people willing to take risks, create opportunities, and plan for success,” she said.

“We already have a lot of Aarons* so we’re thrilled to welcome Molly to Heat,” said Justin Cox, director of strategy. “She is thoughtful and enthusiastic, and her experience is a great addition to the agency.”

*Heat currently has three employees named Aaron, Cabe is the second Molly.
