GSD&M Hires Carat Vet as Executive Media Director

Full-service agency GSD&M expanded its executive team with the hiring of Dave Kersey as executive media director.

In the role, Kersey will be responsible for growing and evolving GSD&M’s media offering, and will relocate from Los Angeles to GSD&M’s Austin, Texas, headquarters. He joins the agency from Carat, where he served as svp, group director and oversaw Disney Parks, Experiences and Products as well as Intel.

Kersey previously partnered with GSD&M on the Hilton account while global account director at OMD, where he also oversaw Inifinit. Prior to joining OMD in 2017, he spent nearly three years at Horizon Media, serving as vp, group brand director across Dignity Health, Honda, LegalZoom and Mike’s Hard Lemonade.
