Grey Latin America president and CEO Alain Groenendaal announced the appointment of Diego Medvedocky as vice president, regional creative director. Medvedocky will continue as creative lead of Grey Argentina while splitting his time between the agency and Grey’s thirteen offices throughout the region.

Before joining Grey Argentina as general creative director in July of 2013, Medvedocky spent six years with Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi as a creative director. Prior to joining Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi he served as creative director of Publicis Graffiti for over a year and a half. Since Medvedocky’s arrival at Grey, the agency has taken home ten Lions and “Agency of the Year” at the Argentina Creative Circle Diente festival.

“I’m very happy to formalize Diego’s role as leader of Grey’s creative team in the region, given his commitment to and active participation in the network, supporting ideas, proposing new approaches and motivating everyone to be their best,” said  Groenendaal. “…Diego has unconditionally assumed the ‘Famously Effective’ culture of Grey, which has led an agency that in the past was known as good strategically but without creative shine, to become one of the most creative and innovative agencies in the region, making it in turn more attractive to the best talent.”

“The truth is that it’s an enormous joy and responsibility to lead Grey Latin America creatively,” added Medvedocky. “What’s happened the past two years in Cannes is a reflection of this and the goal is to show that everything we’ve achieved up until now hasn’t been an accident, but rather part of a long term plan.”
