Just when you thought we had nothing more to report for the summer on G2 (at least in the negative sense, that is), along comes the news that the agency is closing its Burbank office. As you may recall, G2 Burbank recently saw its executive director Chris Kelly walk out the door.
While no date has been set for the close of the Burbank branch, which services clients like Cunard Cruise Line, we’ve been told that “some people will be let go, but not all of them, pending the outcome of interviews/reassignments that are underway.” Still, there might be some positive news for G2 on the horizon as sources tell us that the agency is hiring a high-level creative among other folks in the next couple of weeks. Woo-hoo?
