-Rather funny, but also sad? A new web series from Community Films captures the lunacy of working in the ad biz. First up? An ad shoot and a ridiculous client request. It’s a little cartoony … or is it?

-Last November, recreational weed became legal in Canada. Québec’s road safety body and agency lg2 created a PSA to remind young people that, though it’s fine to partake, what one smokes could be much stronger than what they think it is.

“We wanted to make the message memorable by showing the drug as something sneaky that can take control of the wheel,” said Luc Du Sault, ecd at lg2.

-Speaking of Canada … Canada Goose got its hands caught in the naughty jar with Peta and the FTC.

OMD snapped up some NFL biz.

Pitbull (yes, that Pitbull) is (smartly) investing in an agency with Horizon Media. The agency name is an homage to the 305 Miami area code. Guess those with 786 phone numbers will be feeling a little left out.

-(Facepalm). Microsoft found someone named Mac Book. They put him in a commercial. And it’s not great.

-The BBC’s creative department tapped Helen Rhodes, a W+K London creative director.

-Did you notice the new Tour de France logo? Neither did we.
