Foster Farms Appoints Deutsch as AOR

By Erik Oster

Livingston, California-based poultry company Foster Farms appointed Deutsch as its new agency of record, responsible for creative, digital, and media planning and buying for all its offerings.

The appointment came without a review, following Deutsch being tasked with relaunching Foster Farms’ website earlier this year. Goodby, Silverstein & Partners had been the company’s creative agency for over twenty years, while Organic, Direct Partners and OMD handled other responsibilities. Deutsch will run the account out of its Los Angeles offices. The appointment follows closely on the heels of the agency being named agency of record for Green Giant late last month.

“Deutsch is an agency that has produced outstanding creative work based on strong consumer insights,” said Foster Farms director of communications Ira Brill. “We look forward to working with Deutsch as a genuine business partner, as we continue to evolve the Foster Farms brand.”

“Foster Farms is an iconic brand on the West Coast. And it’s a rare opportunity to get to market a product that’s so integral to people’s everyday lives,” added Kim Getty, president of Deutsch’s Los Angeles office. “We’re incredibly excited about the partnership we’ve forged with Foster Farms and can’t wait to help write the brand’s next chapter.”
