Miguel-Angel Furones was named the head of Publicis’ operation in Spain. Furones, who was formerly the worldwide CCO at Leo Burnett and currently serves as chairman of Leo’s Spanish group Ignition K, reunites with Richard Pinder, former EMEA president at LB who now serves as Publicis Worldwide’s COO.
According to Campaign, as chairman of Publicis Spain, Furones is in charge of Publicis Espana, Publicis Modem and Dialog in Madrid and Publicis CPG in Barcelona. His brief reportedly is “to create greater synergy between the units and to encourage clients to work across all communications disciplines.”
