So, this ad implies that if you depart for New Zealand from California as a vegetarian, you’ll return as a carnivore? We’re just as perplexed as you, yet strangely hungry for a cheeseburger.

That reminds us; we spent last night cavorting around the new Buddy Media offices near Columbus Circle. We sapped beers and ate tiny cheeseburgers with Joe Ciarallo of PRNewser (and Horn Group PR), MediaPost’s Social Medium/writer/photog/maven Kelly Samardak, Social Media Today’s Robin Fray Carey, and Ian Mortimer (aka Hunter Thompson) of Tacit Knowledge.

We ate fish sticks, tuna tartar (ha, yes, I know), and talked about why it’s important to quantify advertising through tools like BuddyMedia’s BuddyBrain &#151 which tracks the attention their clients’ social media apps get. A big thanks to founders Mike Lazerow and Kass Savarese Lazerow for having us over. Pics to come.
