Fez from That 70’s Show and Others Want Latinos to ‘Represent’ Come Census Time

By Kiran Aditham

We’ve seen Draft and GlobalHue’s POV when it comes to marketing the 2010 Census, and now it’s the Latino community’s turn. Here’s the premise of a new PSA campaign that’s targeted at the Latino market called “Be Counted, Represent”: Wilmer Valderrama, Rosario Dawson, veteran character actor Luis Guzman, Jorge Garcia from Lost and many others star as house party-goers who wind up getting in a heated debate about whether or not to take part in the Census. Judging by the first clip below, Fez is one of the dissenters (and a conspiracy theorist to boot) while the lovely Dawson argues for it.

This is just part 1 in an ongoing series (part 2 is after the jump) for “Be Counted” and can also be viewed at the campaign’s online hub, which was set up by U.S. Census partner Voto Latino.
