FCB West Appoints New CEO

FCB worldwide CEO Carter Murray announced the appointment of Joe Oh as CEO of FCB West yesterday. Oh will replace Dominic Whittles in the position, who will move into a chairman role.

Oh joins the agency from mobile video platform OnCue (formerly Intel Media), where he served as executive director, overseeing marketing strategy, strategic planning, product development and overall business objectives for the company. He has over 20 years of of digital marketing and technology experience and began his career with FCB San Francisco as an account executive and media planner in 1996. Oh went on to serve as vice president of client strategy at Razorfish for two years, leading digital strategy for clients including Activision, Kia Motors America, HTC, Hyundai Motors America, Disney and Sony. He also spent time with Hub Strategy as general manager, partner, Duncan/Channon as an account director and Lowe & Partners Worldwide as an account supervisor. In 2010, he founded OH Collective, a strategic marketing consultation focused on technology start-ups.
