Experiential Agency SET Launches ‘Custom Fabrication’ Shop Bespoke

By Patrick Coffee

WPP-owned agency SET Experience Group, which is best known for its experiential and retail marketing work, announced the opening of a new production division called Bespoke. The larger group now includes Bespoke as well as SET and SET Live.

According to the press release, this is a project launched in partnership with New York “custom fabrications company” Project Visual and designed to help clients “bring brand stories to life in physical environments.”

As you probably know, this includes both in-store and digital displays and environments. Here is some of the work.

From SET Experience Group CEO Alasdair Lloyd-Jones: “Bespoke is a natural progression to round out our production offering by adding fabrication and installation. The time is right to provide a comprehensive service. We are listening to our clients and are fulfilling their wishes to offer in-house fabrication capabilities. Bespoke is built from the highest-level craftsmen, working alongside each other to promote reliable and efficient communication, projects completed with a singular focus and with the cost benefit of a one-stop shop.”

SET director of project management Prashant S. Kulkarni will be MD of the new operation. He said Bespoke will help the combined entity stand out via “the advantage coming from a production background.”

While the agency’s work may not frequently score headlines, its clients include Nike, Verizon and, more recently, Sonos.
