Epsilon Hires Susan Rothwell as Chief Revenue Officer

Global advertising and marketing technology company Epsilon has hired industry veteran Susan Rothwell as the company’s first chief revenue officer. With more than 27 years of experience in sales and marketing, Rothwell will lead the company’s client-facing teams to maximize Epsilon’s value to brands, agencies and publishers.

Rothwell joins the Publicis Groupe company from marketing company Vericast, where she held the same title. There, she focused on performance, strategy and operations, driving $2.5 billion in profitable revenue. In addition, Rothwell was responsible for leading Vericast’s sales teams, including the integration and structure of all sales divisions across the organization.

“Susan is a respected leader who has a proven track record of working with marketers to get the most of out of their technology investments, drive brand growth and maintain strong customer relationships,” said Ric Elert, president and chief operating officer at Epsilon. “As a member of our executive leadership team, she will help us build on the success we realized in 2022 as she works with our clients and agency partners to unlock the full power of our digital, technology and data offerings.”

At Epsilon, Rothwell will also work closely with the company’s executive leadership team to build on its 2022 successes, which included 14% organic growth in both Q2 and Q3 2022.

At Vericast, and Valassis, which was bought by Vericast in 2014, Rothwell successfully led print and digital sales teams during her 15-plus years, resulting in large sales wins and double-digit growth.

Prior to Vericast, Rothwell held leadership roles at the Polaroid Corporation in sales, new business development, partner relations, training and marketing.
